Silvertooth Pack ~ Part 1 ~ The Flood
In the stillness of night, a full moon appears. Alone howl echo’s across the darkness. Two shadow figures appear near a stream. The two figures howl again, that tells you not to enter their territory. This land is belongs to Silvertooth Pack. The snow crunches under the paws of the two dog-like animals slowly pad along the frozen stream. You watch from the distance trees as this two walk with soft bodies and strong strides. There is a light color one that is as white as the snow in the weak sun light, but in the moon light this wolf is a light gray color. The other one you can barely see, a midnight black wolf, who is bigger than the white one. This pack is small and looking for more members. The elk run in small herd with rabbits and no bears. The white wolf stops as the black one continues and looks back at where you are hiding. She seems to not see you but then also looking directly at you at the same time. Her tail is wagging as in saying come here yet she turns her head and trots off the catch up with the black one, who was now waiting on her. The territory is small but big enough to hold at least ten wolves.
By morning you are still at the edge of the forest watching the two wolves. Now you have a better look at them. The white wolf is small yet light and fast on her feet. She is able to take sharp turns and outsmart the prey. The black one is big and strong. He seems to be the muscle of the two, always the one to bring down the prey. His paws dig deep in the firm snow. That morning they worked an old injured cow elk. In no time at all they had a meal too big for them to finish. The eagles, ravens, and a coyote came to pick at the scraps, but the black male would run them off from the kill. Once the two have settled down and relax you decide to go down and try your chance with the prey and to try and join this pack. What will await you?
